Snowplow Routes & Priority Map
Interactive map of all 14 plow routes with priority tiers. Tier 1 routes cleared within 4 hours of storm end. Tier 2 within 8 hours. Tier 3 within 24 hours.
Process Steps
Enter your address on the plow map to see your tier and estimated clearance time.
GPS tracker shows plow locations updated every 5 minutes during operations.
Use the road issue reporter if your route has not been cleared within the tier window.

Oversize & Overweight Load Permits
Required for any load exceeding 8'6" wide, 14'0" tall, 65' long, or 80,000 lbs GVW. Annual and single-trip options. 48-hour advance notice required.
Process Steps
Get the TR-210 form. Complete all fields including load dimensions, route, and escort plan.
Single-trip: $25. Annual blanket: $150. Submit to permits office or drop box by 3 PM for next-day processing.
Permit issued by email or in-person pickup. Must be in cab during transport.

Fixed-Route Bus Schedule
Current timetables for all 12 fixed routes including Routes 1–9 (town service) and Routes 10–12 (rural connectors). Real-time arrival data available.
Process Steps
Use the route map or search by stop name. Routes 1–9 run Mon–Sat 6 AM – 9 PM. Routes 10–12 Mon–Fri only.
Text your stop ID to 55555 or use the live tracker for next arrival within 2 minutes.
All routes connect at the Transit Center on Elk Ave. Transfer window is 8 minutes.

Culvert Replacement Requests
Request inspection and replacement of county-maintained culverts affecting drainage on private access roads. Average project timeline: 6–18 months depending on funding cycle.
Process Steps
Complete form TR-340. Include GPS coordinates and photos of current culvert condition.
County engineer schedules field inspection within 30 days of receipt.
Projects scored by structural risk, traffic volume, and drainage impact. High-risk projects fast-tracked.
Funding and scheduling confirmed. Typical construction window: April–October.

Bridge Inspection Reports
Public access to all biennial bridge inspection reports for 62 county-maintained structures. Current weight restrictions and structural ratings included.
Process Steps
Each bridge has a BR-XXX identifier posted on the structure. Search by ID or location.
Full NBI-format inspection reports available as PDF. No account required.
Observed structural changes or damage? Call engineering directly — do not wait for the next inspection cycle.

Driveway Access Permits
Required before any new driveway, field access, or approach is constructed off a county road. Includes culvert sizing review. No fee for agricultural access.
Process Steps
Include site plan showing driveway location relative to road centerline and property lines.
Sight distance and drainage review completed within 10 business days.
Approved permit includes culvert size specification. Construction must begin within 90 days.

Road Use Agreements (Heavy Haul)
Required for contractors and energy operators planning sustained heavy haul operations (>30 trips) on county roads. Includes baseline road condition survey and bond.
Process Steps
Required before form submission. Schedule with engineering to review route and bond calculation.
County photographs and rates road condition before operations begin. Cost shared by applicant.
Bond amount based on road class and estimated trip volume. Agreement signed before first haul.
Road re-rated after operations. Bond released or applied to repairs within 30 days.

Transit Pass Programs
Monthly, senior (65+), and ADA paratransit passes. Employer bulk pass program available for businesses with 10+ employees. Medicaid transport coordination through county.
Process Steps
Monthly: $45. Senior/Disabled: $22. ADA Paratransit: income-based. Employer bulk: contact office.
Senior and ADA passes require proof of eligibility. Standard pass available at Transit Center same day.
Standard passes available at Transit Center, 204 Elk Ave. Senior/ADA mailed within 3 business days.

Public records of maintenance schedules and completed work orders for all 34 county road and transit vehicles. FOIA-compliant records available same day.
Process Steps
Records indexed by vehicle ID, service date, and work type. Specify in your request.
Complete TR-FOIA-01 or request in person. No fee for records under 50 pages.
Standard FOIA response within 5 business days. Expedited available for legal proceedings.
